Seedling Challenge #11

It's amazing that already this is the last full week of the Month of the Starfish. Yes, it's coming to the end of Monique's varied and interesting prompts. In fact tomorrow will be the last one before the Prompt Master baton is passed on to @misskeelahrose

So where have this week's prompts taken you with your wee Tweets; and where may they take you with a longer story?

Just take one of your VSS365 tweets from the past week and expand it into a story of up to 365 words.

As a reminder this week's words were:

  • thorn
  • frame
  • inhibit
  • keyhole
  • collect
  • robe
  • second

You don't need to include your original VSS tweet as written within the text of the story (though feel free to), just use it as the seed for your imagination - take your tweet for a walk.

If you haven't had a chance to do VSS this week then you could write a few tweet length lines using the prompts above then pick your favourite.

Give it a go and see where your words take you. You'll find 365 words can take you a surprising long way. Looking forward to reading your stories. If you read the others up here (even if you're not posting your own story) feel free to comment about the ones that are up there. Us writerers like a wee bit of feedback.

Please include within the post your: Twitter Name, Word Count and Title (if you have one).

And a big thanks to @Starfish_72 for this month's prompts. Obviously if you want to get the prompts promptly for your daily VSS365 hit then make sure you follow @misskeelahrose

Seedling Challenge #7

Hard to believe we're already out the other side of winter and into spring and just as shockingly passed through the Month of the Unk into the Month of the Starfish (aka Monique) @Starfish_72

So where have this week's words taken you with your wee Tweets, and where will they take you with a longer story?

  • humble
  • yesterday
  • epiphany
  • celebration
  • champion
  • escape
  • listen
